JEKL is an acronym for the four members of my family, Joe (myself), Eric (my son), Kristen (my daughter), and Linda (my wife).

I can honestly say that while I love my work, nothing in life is more important than my family, and naming my company after them serves as both a tribute to and reminder of this fact.

In addition, I think it sounds kind of cool!
